Vow Renewals & Civil Partnerships
Your ceremony is one of the most important days of your life and you deserve to have your celebration, your way. I will help you to create a personalised, non-religious ceremony that is unique to you.
Following an initial planning meeting to discuss the ceremony in-depth at a venue of your choosing, I will draft and edit a personal script, attend a rehearsal at your chosen venue, deliver the ceremony on the day itself and present you will a keepsake copy of the script after the ceremony.
Personal vows are often one of the highlights of a wedding, and I will either support you to write or choose your own words or provide a range of sample vows for you to look through. I can also guide you on choosing readings, poems and music for your bespoke personal ceremony.
I am fully aligned with the LGBTQ+ community, so feel completely at ease with providing ceremonies for same-sex couples.
If you wish to marry abroad, I work abroad and conduct weddings overseas. If you have married abroad, I would be happy to help you create a ceremony back home to make promises and re-exchange rings in the presence of family and friends who weren’t able to travel abroad.
Due to UK law, you will need to have a Registrar from the local authority present at the wedding to conduct the legal part of the ceremony.
So, whether you are planning to marry at home or abroad, it would be my utmost privilege and pleasure to help and support you at any time.
Weddings
Every wedding ceremony I create is hand-written and bespoke for the couple and reflects who you are and what you find meaningful.

Renewal of Vows
A vow renewal ceremony is the perfect way to make a public declaration of your love and continuing commitment. Renewing your marriage vows means you can declare your feelings and make a commitment to one another in front of those you hold dear. The ceremony can tell your unique story, what you have achieved and experienced together.
I will help you to create a non-religious, inclusive ceremony that is personal and meaningful to you. It is tailored to you, so every one is unique.
You can include symbolic acts such as handfasting, sand-blending, or lighting a unity candle. The ceremony can be as similar to or as different from your original wedding day as you wish.

Civil Partnerships
A civil partnership gives couples the same legal rights and benefits as couples who have entered into a marriage. They were originally created in 2005 to give same-sex couples marriage equality, ahead of full marriage equality coming to England, Scotland and Wales in 2013.
Originally, civil partnerships were only for same-sex couples, but since 2019 in England and Wales, 2020 in Northern Ireland, and 2021 in Scotland, they have also been available to opposite-sex couples.
I am fully aligned with the LGBTQ+ community, so feel completely at ease with providing civil partnership ceremonies for same-sex couples.
I can create a ceremony either before or after your civil partnership signed through a registrar that can include your individual promises or vows, symbolic acts, readings, poetry and music.
