Pricing and Travel

All current ceremony prices include travel costs within East Sussex only. Ceremonies requiring travel arrangements outside of this area will attract extra costs, which will be provided at the time of booking. Therefore, full location details for the ceremony, rehearsal or family meeting must be provided at the time of making the booking.

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the ceremony cost is payable at the time of signing the contract agreement to book my services. This holds the date and the time for both parties. The balance of the remaining 50% is due to be paid in full by cleared funds, one week prior to the ceremony. A date/time is not confirmed until the deposit has been paid. Although any deposits paid to me are non-refundable. I may be able to change your ceremony date, if I have the availability

Please note that I perform many other ceremonies and that any change of date, time or location, without first notifying me may mean that I am unavailable, and this would result in the loss of your deposit

If a cancellation or change is made by the couple with less than 48 hours’ notice prior to the ceremony, the entire fee as contracted will be due.

Similarly, I commit to refunding the deposit if for any reason I am unable to proceed with the ceremony and no replacement celebrant can be found.

It is important to understand that my wedding ceremonies are not legally binding. You will need to have a civil ceremony at some stage of the process in order to be legally married.

The legal registration can be done at any time; however, I require it to have been completed before your ceremony with me takes place

Paul Goddard Celebrant retains full copyright of the written ceremony but allows the client to use and share it for their own personal use after the ceremony.

Paul Goddard Celebrant respectfully asks to be granted permission to use any appropriate images, photographs, testimonials, and your ceremony story for publicity purposes, including, but not limited to: publishing on websites, blog posts, social media and printed materials.

I take the privacy and security of individuals and their personal information very seriously and take every reasonable measure and precaution to protect and secure the personal data that is processed. I adhere strictly to all current GDPR laws
